Join us in celebrating our 30th year as innkeepers at

Wedgwood Bed and Breakfast Inn of New Hope

New Hope, Pennsylvania's 1870 Wedgwood Bed & Breakfast Inn, a nationally acclaimed New Hope bed and breakfast inn, is a Wedgwood-blue colored Victorian "Painted Lady" listed on Bucks County Registry of Historic Places.  Wedgwood Inn is spelled Wedgwood, not 'Wedgewood' because Wedgwood Inn is named after the Englishman Josiah Wedgwood who invented the famous Wedgwood blue bone china. The Wedgwood family name does not have a second "e" in its spelling.  Set on 2 private acres of a park-like setting with flower-lined brick walkways leading to two gazebos and a hammock, yet just steps from New Hope's historic and vibrant village and the walking bridge to Lambertville and nearby Princeton, New Jersey.

Celebrating 30 years of Innkeeping

The Glassman's are celebrating 30 years of innkeeping at 1870 Wedgwood Inn beginning this April.  As a thank you to all our loyal houseguests who make our B&B inn such a success, we will be giving away a complimentary "Mid-Week Escape Lodging Package" each month of our anniversary year.

These names will be drawn at random from our database of houseguests from our Wedgwood Collection of Historic Inns: Wedgwood, Umpleby and the Aaron Burr House. (If you have not been a registered guest but would like to enter, please click here.)

Each month the winner will be chosen and notified via email.  With permission, we will also post the names on this website. Each winner will be issued a Gift Certificate for a Fireplace Room as part of a "Mid-Week Escape Package.

New nationally published book and blog on Pennsylvania travel
touts the "Wedgwood Inns" as the place to stay in New Hope!

Pennsylvania has more than its share of interesting bed & breakfast inns. At the 1870 Wedgwood Inn (pictured above) in New Hope, the innkeepers proudly point out a trap door leading to a tunnel that was once part of the Philadelphia-Quaker Underground Railroad network before leading guests to their elegant, Victorian-era rooms.

We love innkeeping and we love New Hope...we were drawn here, and moved to New Hope, because we feel the greater New Hope/Lambertville area combines history, serenity, unique attractions, individually-owned shops, galleries, fine food and an active entertainment and arts scene that creates the perfect vacation spot. View our attractions and calendar of events page to learn more about New Hope as a four seasons destination.

We invite you to share our enthusiasm for the area and experience the warmth and comfort of our Inn for yourselves and to find New Hope in the Wedgwood Inn!
