Aunt Sylvia's Sour Cream Coffee Cake
Sunday family dinners often concluded with this
dessert which Nadine (Dinie) has updated to be appropriate as a breakfast
bread as well. This recipe makes one bundt cake:
Mix: Add and Mix:
1-2/3 c. sour cream
3 c. flour
3 eggs
1-1/2 tsp. baking soda
1-1/2 c. sugar
1-1/2 tsp. baking powder
1-1/2 sticks soft margarine
1/2 tsp. salt
Topping:
In a separate bowl, mix:
1/3 c. sugar
1-1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1 c. walnuts
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Place 1/2 the batter into a greased bundt pan
and sprinkle with 1/2 the topping. Place remaining batter on top and
sprinkle with the rest of the topping. Bake 45 to 50 minutes. Enjoy!
