Words cannot express how grateful we are for the wonderful memories you helped us create on our combination BabyMoon -Elopement- Honeymoon at your lovely inn. The Gazebo at Wedgewood Inn was the perfect spot for us to become husband and wife. Thank you for pulling all the details together for us! We simply would not have changed a thing! Your hospitality and accommodations are top notch. Kudos to your courteous and smiling staff too; you treated us like royalty throughout our four days. We'll be back (once we find a babysitter!).

Janelle Kennedy and Julius Walter of Philadelphia, Pa. eloped in New Hope and honeymooned at Wedgwood Inn this past weekend.

Carl and Nadine are celebrating their 26th year of innkeeping at their gracious Victorian inn located on West Bridge Street. In honor of their anniversary, they created an Elopement Package online. Julius was their first inquiry!

Carl continues, " Julius called late Thursday afternoon requesting a custom Elopement Package - for Saturday! I was very pleased how small town New Hope came together so quickly to give this young couple the wedding service of their dreams."

Mayor Larry Keller adjusted his schedule to officiate the afternoon service in Wedgwood Inn's Victorian gazebo; the Pod Shop supplied the bride's bouquet and The Bucks County Carriage Company whisked the newlyweds away in a horse drawn Pennsylvania surrey. Photographer Gordon Neiburg captured it all on his high tech digital camera.

The honeymooners retired to their lace canopy room at the Wedgwood Inn complete with fireplace and Jacuzzi tub. Their Breakfast in Bed tray the next morning included the completed photos and a picture CD of their special day!

Janelle and Julius were familiar with New Hope as Philadelphia natives. "We wanted to have our service in New Hope to symbolize the new hope we have for our new lives together as husband and wife. Everything was perfect! We'll be back for our first wedding anniversary."]

Breakfast in Bed

Our generous home-baked breakfast is served daily in our light and airy dining room at one of our tables which seat 2, 4 or 6 people.  We also offer a breakfast tray which you may have in the privacy of your own room or outside under the covered veranda or in a garden setting.

If you're looking for a true "home away from home" for a get-away, look no further than these beautiful Inns in beautiful Bucks County. The Wedgwood Inn, the Umpleby House, and the Aaron Burr House are all owned by the same lovely family, and they and their staff go out of their way to make your stay a welcome one. Clean rooms filled with antiques, as well as private baths await you in a beautiful setting within blocks of downtown New Hope and Lambertville, NJ.

We've been to these Inns many times over the past two years, and won't stay anywhere else now! It's that nice! They serve a home made breakfast every morning to the guests, and they also have out other snacks like cookies or fruit for during the day.

They provide a wealth of information about Bucks County to help you get around and see everything in case you're there for sight-seeing. If you're there to just relax, you've picked a great spot! I can't recommend these inns enough; an outstanding get-away from beginning to end, and one we're sure to go back to time and time again! Kudos to the proprietors, Dinie and Carl for such a lovely set of inns!
