Accommodations for Business Travelers

Introduction

Since 1982, New Hope's 1870 Wedgwood Bed and Breakfast Inn has served business travelers for long and short term lodging needs, as well as extended stays for corporate relocation. 

Hosts Carl and Nadine have been professional innkeepers for over 20 years.  Carl is a business traveler himself, as he is a frequent guest speaker at conferences across the country.  They know what business travelers want, and they make sure to provide all that and more.  The Inn can even serve as your personal 'boardroom' for an important meeting.  We also offer free local calling plus free Wi-Fi access throughout the Inn, including sleeping accommodations.

All three properties in the Wedgwood Collection of Historic Inns have been independently reviewed and rated “Excellent” by AAA and Mobil Guide.  We are proud of the accolades bestowed by leading travel experts.  More important, though, is the direct feedback from our satisfied business customers:

Bay Window Room (F) at the Wedgwood House
The telephone and writing surface is appreciated by our corporate houseguests.  Tall, three-sided bay window and a queen-size four poster rice bed, color cable TV.

  

 

Spiral Suite with Kitchenette (U-8) at the Umpleby House
This two-level suite is connected by an oak and leather staircase.  Two porches, a kitchenette plus color cable TV and Franklin stove fireplace makes this queen-sized accommodation ideal for the long-term relocation guest.

  
 

 

Autumn Leaves (A-2) at the Aaron Burr House
This corner room has lots of great light plus a queen-size bed, telephone, and window seat.  The hand-painted interior reflects the glorious Fall foliage as seen right outside its' windows.

A gas fireplace, king-size bed telephone and desk makes this room a favorite of the Chairman of the Board. The rich red and gold black walnut floors and mahogany bed add a richness to this stately, hand-stenciled corner room.

Business Amenities

New Hope is close to the corporate centers in New Brunswick, Princeton and Trenton (NJ) as well as those in Newton, Doylestown and Yardley (PA).  Just 10 minutes off I-95, we are 75 minutes to Newark Airport and only 35 minutes to the Philadelphia Airport.  Unlike many traditional B&B's, we do cater to business travelers.  For guests that might be traveling with you, our in-town location is convenient and offers them many things to do and see without a car.  The selection of evening live entertainment and great restaurants will be appreciated by the business traveler and their traveling companion.

  • Breakfast served 8:30 am to 10:00 am. Early breakfast arranged with prior notice.
  • All rooms are smoke free and have a private telephone with voicemail and Wi-Fi.
  • Incoming faxes can be received on-site.
  • Outgoing faxes are free to local numbers.
  • Dry cleaning (pick up and delivery) can be arranged.
  • Health Club facilities are available just 1/2 mile away (fee).
  • Swim and Tennis Club privileges (private) ¼ mile away (fee, seasonal)
  • The nearest copy center and office supply and Fed Ex store is Staples, just 1/4 mile away.
